Built-In Entertainment Wall and Mudroom Cubbies
A floor-to-ceiling built-in media wall under a vaulted ceiling, plus mudroom cubbies with a solid bench, all built on site from raw stock.
The problem
A great room with a vaulted ceiling and nowhere to put a television that did not look like an afterthought, and a back entry with coats on the floor.
What Luke did
Luke framed and built the media wall in place: base cabinets, a recessed television bay, open shelving that follows the ceiling pitch, and face frames scribed to the drywall. The mudroom got a bank of open cubbies over a solid bench seat with paneled sides. Everything shown is before paint, the way it comes off the saw.
The result
Storage that looks original to the house. Photos of the painted result are coming.
