What people say
In their words.
Luke pays a lot of attention to detail and does high-quality carpentry work. He installed our kitchen cabinets and crown molding. He did a wonderful job on the crown molding and installed it in a way we can't see the nail holes. I loved that. He also built us custom floating shelves, paneling over a support beam, and a custom built-in banquette bench. All of them turned out beautiful. He did a wonderful job with the mitered edges. He also worked with us to revise the design of the bench to get the price of it down to a range we could afford when our initial design was out of our budget. He communicated well and showed up when he said he would show up. Overall, I would highly recommend Luke.
I'm a custom home builder and Luke has worked on several of our projects. We're so grateful for Luke and LTA. Luke works quickly and with great attention to detail. As much as that's fantastic and necessary, Luke is also full of integrity and understanding. Two traits difficult to find in the trades. Don't hesitate to hire such an outstanding craftsman!!!
Positive experience from start to finish. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with LTA. We did a kitchen remodel with Luke. The project was always about us and what WE wanted. Luke’s ego never got in the way. He was always accommodating with any new idea I had, something I wanted to change or do differently than initially expected and always said, “it’s your kitchen, you should do it how you want it”. Luke was ALWAYS communicating. I always knew the plan. If I had questions, Luke was quick to respond. Luke kept in communication with our designer and other contractors and handled any issues promptly. The work itself is exceptional. Our kitchen is absolutely beautiful and perfect. Luke is precise and takes a solution oriented approach. At the end of each work day, Luke always cleaned up. If you’ve ever had a contractor that didn’t, know how important this is! Finally, Luke is trustworthy. I had no issue if Luke needed access to our home while we weren’t there, absolutely never felt like we were being taken advantage of in terms of cost of services and most importantly, Our dog loves him - you gotta trust that! Work Worth every penny!
I can’t recommend Luke at LTA Construct highly enough. I’ve hired him for several projects, including a custom deck and a full basement remodel, and his work has been impeccable every time. Luke’s attention to detail, honesty, craftsmanship, and commitment to doing things right truly set him apart. He consistently goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done properly and that the finished product exceeds expectations. His professionalism and reliability make the entire process easy and stress-free. If you’re looking for someone you can trust to deliver exceptional quality work, Luke is the person to call. I highly recommend him for any construction project, big or small!
I hired LTA to replace a couple of bathroom vanities, mirrors, and light fixtures. Luke came out and provided a fair estimate. During the walkthrough, I also showed him several light switches that needed updating, and he had no problem adding them to the scope of work. The work was scheduled promptly, and Luke arrived right on time. On the morning of the installation, he discovered that I had purchased the wrong type of vanity for the existing under-sink plumbing. He went above and beyond by helping me exchange it, and he still completed the entire job within the timeframe he originally promised. The quality of the work was excellent, and the customer service was outstanding. I will definitely be calling LTA again for future handyman projects around my home. Highly recommended!
Luke and his team did an outstanding job tackling a whole list of projects around our house before we put it on the market. He handled drywall repairs, fixed our water fountain, adjusted and repaired cabinet doors, painted our entry doors, and re-did grout. They did all the repairs with the same level of care and attention to detail. It’s rare to find someone who’s equally skilled across so many different types of work, and Luke made what could have been a headache of a multi-project job feel completely seamless. He was professional, efficient, and clearly took pride in doing things right rather than just fast. Every project was completed to a high standard, and the results spoke for themselves. Our house sold the very first weekend it was listed, over asking price. I have no doubt the work Luke did helped make that happen. I’d highly recommend him to anyone who needs a reliable handyman who can handle a variety of repairs without cutting corners, especially if you’re prepping a home for sale. Adam

Why a carpenter
Most contractors manage.
Luke builds.
On a typical remodel the cabinets, trim and built-ins go to whichever finish crew is free that week. On an LTA job they go to Luke.
The crown that hides its nail holes, the banquette that looks original, the curved oak starter step: that is the standard, and it is the same person on every job.
The Workshop
How the work is actually done.

How to Tell Good Cabinets From Bad Ones Before You Buy
Two kitchens can look identical in a showroom and be ten years apart in how they age. The difference is under the paint. Here is what Luke checks.

What Building a Curved Staircase Actually Involves
The curved white oak staircase on this site gets more questions than anything else. Most of them are some version of “how.” This is the answer.

Why Colorado’s Dry Air Cracks Your Trim (and What to Do About It)
Every winter, somebody calls about a crack that appeared in a joint that was perfect in October. It is not a defect. It is Colorado.
