Gray Slab-Front Kitchen Remodel
A tight galley kitchen rebuilt with flat-panel gray cabinets, white quartz counters, a two-tier island and a glass mosaic backsplash, plus built-in bookshelves in the adjoining hall.

The problem
A narrow 1970s kitchen with a peninsula that blocked traffic, dark cabinets and almost no counter space.
What Luke did
The peninsula came out and a compact island with seating went in. Gray slab-front cabinets were installed with a full-height pantry wall, an induction range, and a counter-depth refrigerator to keep the walkway clear. White quartz counters, a stone-and-glass mosaic backsplash, and light plank flooring brightened the whole room. In the hallway Luke added built-in bookshelves and replaced the doors.
The result
The client’s review: “The project was always about us and what we wanted. Luke’s ego never got in the way.” The kitchen went from the smallest room in the house to the one guests end up in.
Positive experience from start to finish. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with LTA. We did a kitchen remodel with Luke. The project was always about us and what WE wanted. Luke’s ego never got in the way. He was always accommodating with any new idea I had, something I wanted to change or do differently than initially expected and always said, “it’s your kitchen, you should do it how you want it”. Luke was ALWAYS communicating. I always knew the plan. If I had questions, Luke was quick to respond. Luke kept in communication with our designer and other contractors and handled any issues promptly. The work itself is exceptional. Our kitchen is absolutely beautiful and perfect. Luke is precise and takes a solution oriented approach. At the end of each work day, Luke always cleaned up. If you’ve ever had a contractor that didn’t, know how important this is! Finally, Luke is trustworthy. I had no issue if Luke needed access to our home while we weren’t there, absolutely never felt like we were being taken advantage of in terms of cost of services and most importantly, Our dog loves him - you gotta trust that! Work Worth every penny!
